What a Helper

   This morning mommy asked me to keep Danny while she took Diego with her on some errands. So, we went outside and picked up some fallen branches and sticks that were laying around in the yard. Danny was such a big helper. He was delighted to help. Then we came in and played a game, and did his animals. He loves trying to mimic animal sounds. So we did that for awhile. Then,,,, I rode him around on my back like a horse in the living room, he really loved that.

Love Him

  Last night we were outside, yard work, playing and so forth. Well, I got to playing with Diego. I set up just a plain square basket in a corner on the ground out there. I showed Diego what to do. He was so cute. He threw the ball and it got in the basket, boy oh boy he was so excited. Then little by little I tried to get him to move back a little bit. His confidence seemed a little lacking cause he kept creeping forward, I would laugh , he would laugh too. Then, I taught him a word, bank shot. So then every time he did a bank shot he would delightfully call out bank shot. It was fun playing ball with him.

Danny

  This morning it was really cute, I did not have my camera on me, ugh bummer. Anyway, Danny is potty training, and learning how to put his underwear back on so forth. He has hit the era to where he wants to try everything himself. Watching him try to put his little underwear on was so cute and funny. He put both legs in one hole, that did not work, then the other hole, that did not work, but instead of describing every way he did try, I will tell you this, he tried them every way you could try them except the right way.     ( by the way funny side note: there about only 8 ways to incorrectly put your underwear on.) I tried coaching him, two times he was so close, he doubled some of his tries but he did not realize that, then he laughed at me when I made it light and fun. In the end he did not get it, if you could fathom watching a tiny 23 month old doing that for about twenty minutes it was pretty cute. He did not get up set, he just smiled and laughed.
    Watching young ones learn is such a joy, watching their little minds work, discovering new things and their reactions to learning is absolutely priceless.

Car Wash

Danny loved washing the car. at one point it sounded as thou he was singing while doing it. He was so adorable. 

Unfortunately, I can,t put Diego picture joyfully washing the car cause the licence plates are showing in them. Maybe next time.

Good Morning Tidbit

  First thing as soon as I walked upstairs, I was greeted by Danny who had the backpack, wanting in. He wanted to go bike riding, so I gently told him we will go later. But I did pack him on my back for a bit.  We played for a little while. This was just a little tidbit .

Bike Riding

I took Danny bike riding today. I put him in the back pack carrier and got on my bike. Oh, his delight was priceless. I wished I could have video taped him or got a good picture. He was so excited and  laughing . My phone can't do those things anymore. Next time I probably need to have something on hand to see if I can capture it.

Returning

  As you know I live in Providence. I live with two of the silliest little boys which indeed are my grandsons proudly to say. Danny at 2 months is about potty trained. Mommy is gonna have a baby sister coming October which is right around the corner. We moved in this house back in July so we we still have things to try and figure out what to do with along with getting a babies room ready.

   Anyway, these two little boys two peas in a pod. Danny loves the Wiggles, as soon as you mention gonna turn them on he gets soo excited and runs to the living room to prepare for the moment. He loves to try and sing with them as well. Diego, I think he was born with springs in his little legs, he has to be up bouncing around, but there is these moments when he does manage to sit like on his mom's ipad,or  watch part of a movie.

    Danny is also infatuated with running water, every time we go do dishes, here he comes pushing the chair over , climbs up to the sink, and puts his hands under the running water. He does not like getting down. Diego and Danny has a great pretending mind. They pretend to bring me food and or drinks, very sweet thank you. It is a small service for now but hopefully one day it will pay off and become something. This was a hoot one day, their mom put an app on her ipad that is a talking Franklin the turtle. Well, he was talking to him(Diego does not realize yet that Franklin just repeats what Diego says) Diego was just talking away and telling Franklin how his mom won't let him,,,I don't remember ,, Franklin says that about his mom too,, and you should have seen Diego's face,, Diego said you too!!!! Diego was beside himself that Franklin's mom said the same thing his mom said. I laughed so hard.... it may be one of those times where you had to see and hear for yourself to get the same effect.

  Diego and Danny are both smart little boys. Danny comes to my room to play with my fabric square that has cards with it. He finds all the animal cards, we says their sounds and repeat it them a couple of times as though he is testing my animal sounds, then he is all done. Then he will want me to bounce him on my big red ball. That is pretty fun to him. Now when Diego comes down he has to do everything his little brother does. But he knows all the animals, their sounds and all. He is pretty cute. I think it about that time to find Diego's interest with his hands so we can build on creativity future :). Gonna take them on a walk today. Twofold , one they would like it and  I need the exercise . Love them. To be continued.

Our dear Danny and Catie has discovered that these big sized wooden puzzle pieces make music. Noisy.

Gears

Diego loves playing with these gears that i tuck away for special times. Since I don't  get them out often it is like it is brand new every time.

Praise

Danny sits quietly snapping cars together. He is very pleased that he accomplished learning to snap them together.

Bike

Catie is extremely proud of herself for being able to get on the bike.

Diego is playing with the colored rice his mommy made. Addison is playing with the flowers I made.

They have not colored their wings yet. They seem to like these. Butterflies flits and flies. Bees goes buzz buzz. So they were going around making the sounds.

Ready For Tomorrow

Well ready for tomorrow. Bee wings for him to help color plus the bee mask to go with it. Addison' s butterfly wings and mask. Plus a little bee for Danny and a little butterfly for Catie. Plus a little finger play I am gonna try to teach them.

Music

This is sooo cute and amazing. I had Diego in the bedroom with me listening to " Antonio Vivaldi's Spring. Well we listened to it a couple times then on the last time I picked out a very obvious instrument the piano, I covered his eyes before he saw what instrument was playing . He said piano with big delighted eyes. He was so cute. Sooo I told him how proud of him I was and he beamed.
  I think in this particular piece there is the violin, piano, bass, and drums. 

Danny's Neck Attire

Danny finds whatever clothes he can and tries them on his neck, his legs  but today was his neck. They are clean, don't panic.
